New Chapters in Cultural Arts Enrichment Community Outreach
On this day, in the Summer of 2015, the Sarah West Gallery of Fine Art launched our Cultural Arts Enrichment Program, as an avenue by which to reach further into our communities and unite our region through the appreciation of cultural heritage, historic preservation, further community sustainability cultivation and art education. This program has continued to serve as means by which to educate and further cultivate these values and appreciations throughout our community and region. Through the Sarah West Gallery of Fine Art’s Cultural Arts Enrichment Program Events local, national and internationally recognized artists, writers, storytellers, musicians, craftsmen, farmers, organizations and more are given a chance to share their work with our community.
As our Cultural Arts Enrichment Program continues to grow, more chapters are realized, providing artists with an opportunity to give back and further grow. It is with immense joy and gratitude that we announce The Sarah West Gallery of Fine Art’s Cultural Arts Enrichment Program’s next chapter, featuring *Art Classes.
Since 2009, the Sarah West Gallery of Fine Art has relentlessly developed and offered over 80 different Fine Art Courses for Continued Art Education Study, serving art students of all ages, interests and skill levels. While the Sarah West Gallery of Fine Art continues to offer numerous programs on both Year Round and Seasonal Basis, gallery artists would like to extend our reach, deeper into our beloved community by sharing the Arts on a greater scale.
This Summer the Sarah West Gallery of Fine Art announces FREE Art Classes.
FREE Art Classes, made possible by the Sarah West Gallery of Fine Art’s Cultural Arts Enrichment Program, will be offered as Limited Time Events on select days, as are indicated within our Official Social Media outlets and within our ad in the Citizen of East Alabama newspaper. These FREE Art Class Events are offered completely free of charge, open to the public but do require an advanced reservation.
In an effort to accommodate reservation requests, we encourage those who desire to take a class, to call the gallery via 334-480-2008 and sign up as soon as possible. These class spaces are expected to fill. Classes are available to Young Art Enthusiast (ages 6-17) and Adult Artists (ages 18+.) Beginners are Welcome. We invite you to come and explore creative expression in an inspired environment regardless of experience level. FREE Art Classes provide anyone within our community the opportunity to explore creative expression during a single, one time, studio session accompanied by the educational guidance of a program instructor.
These classes are offered as limited one time events.
